Soulkyn V2 Update: Why We’re Postponing
We wanted to share an important update about Soulkyn V2’s development timeline and explain what’s been happening behind the scenes.
The Original Plan vs. Reality
Originally, the plan was to slow down feature development on Soulkyn V1 so we could fully focus on building V2. But as many of you have noticed… we didn’t quite stick to that plan.
Instead, we’ve continued rolling out upgrades and new features almost daily. The enthusiasm from our community and the potential we saw in enhancing V1 made it impossible to resist improving your current experience while working toward the future.
What We’ve Been Building
Here’s what we’ve added to Soulkyn V1 recently:
- Model Training: Enhanced AI capabilities for more nuanced interactions
- Video Generation: Bringing your characters to life in new ways
- Chat Improvements: Smoother, more intuitive conversations
- Group Chats: Multi-character interactions
- Better RPG Support: Enhanced role-playing experiences
- Language System Personas: More diverse personas, mini-games, etc…
- LoRAs: Fine-tuned model adaptations
- Community Suggestions: Quality of life improvements or small features from 📝|suggestions on discord
And we’re not done yet! Still in the pipeline for V1:
- Inpainting capabilities
- Image variations
- Community media sharing on public personas
- Lorebooks/Realm
- Folder organisation for persona/medias
- And more…
The Impact on V2
These additions are always made with the long-term vision of V2 in mind, and they’ve helped shape what V2 will eventually become. Each feature we implement teaches us something new about what works, what doesn’t, and what our community truly values.
However, this continued development means Soulkyn V2 is officially delayed, with no alpha launch expected before 2026 (unless Nyx manages to perfect his AI Clone 😄).
Why This Is Actually Good News
While a delay might sound disappointing, here’s why it’s ultimately beneficial:
- You get to enjoy continuous improvements to V1 right now
- We’re battle-testing features that will make V2 even better
- The foundation for V2 becomes stronger with each lesson learned
- Your feedback on V1 features directly influences V2’s design
Our Commitment to You
We know many of you are excited for what’s coming, and so are we. In the meantime, we’ll keep polishing, optimizing, and expanding Soulkyn V1 to give you the best possible experience.
Remember, all current Soulkyn V1 subscribers will automatically gain access to Soulkyn V2 under the same subscription when it launches. Your patience and support now will be rewarded with an even more revolutionary platform later.
Thank You
Thanks for your patience and ongoing support. You’re the reason we keep pushing forward. Every feature we add, every improvement we make, is driven by your passion for what Soulkyn can become.
Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, keep sharing your ideas and feedback on Discord. Together, we’re building something truly special.
