Trick or True: Enter Soulkyn’s October Custom AI Character Contest

Soulkyn is a hub of creativity and innovation. Our community creates AI characters that boggle the mind and push the limits of imagination. With our advanced AI tools, building a custom AI character is simple. Finding the inspiration to get creative? Well, we provide that too. Each month, the Soulkyn team hosts an AI character creator contest. The rules are simple. Read our carefully selected theme and design a new AI companion around it. This month, our theme is Trick or True.

October is a time for disguises, masks, costumes, and alter egos. It’s the one time of year when you’re encouraged to be someone else. Our theme for Contest 37 reflects that spirit of disguise. We want you to create a custom AI character, give them a disguise and decide what that disguise is doing. Is it a lie, like angel wings worn by the worst person you know, or a frank disclosure, like plastic vampire teeth concealing a real set of razor-sharp fangs? Disguises can range from hastily applied party wigs to stolen uniforms. The choice is yours.

What We’re Looking For

As always, our judges don’t want to see NCPs. Build an AI character with personality that comes to life in the chat. Their disguise wasn’t random. They chose their disguise, and we want to know why. Is it a reflection of who they really are, or the complete opposite? Does their costume give them the freedom to act without fear of consequences? Do they behave outrageously, flirt with everyone, or confess to a crime?

And once the disguise comes off, who are they?

Build the world around them

Costumes can appear just about anywhere: a masquerade ball, a Renaissance fair, a cosplay convention, a Halloween party and in mundane settings like hospital hallways or in the school pickup line. Because costumes have no fixed abode, neither does this contest. The setting is completely your call and can be described right inside the competition prompt. For some added flair, you can pair them with one of Soulkyn’s WRL or RPG worlds if it fits. It’s optional, but the focus should remain on the character.
