AI Roleplay Platform Update: New AI Music & Video Features

Soulkyn is an AI roleplay platform dedicated to bringing our community the most immersive AI companion experience possible. To achieve this goal, we regularly update our platform with exciting new features. Our latest update is laser-focused on AI media. AI Music and AI Videos have now been upgraded to dedicated experiences designed around how the Soulkyn community actually consumes each type of content. Rather than presenting AI-generated media in simple grids of content, the Soulkyn team has redesigned each section as its own accessible discovery hub.

AI Music Gets a Full Player Experience

AI Music just got a new home in a dedicated music hub. Users can now browse familiar sections like Recently Popular, Recently Added, and Most Played, with an option to play the entire AI Music list. Simply hit ‘Play all’ and it will become your music queue. A persistent player has been added to the bottom of the screen, so AI Music can continue to play while users browse Soulkyn or enjoy a NSFW AI chat. It has all the usual controls for pausing, skipping, seeking, adjusting volume, and viewing the upcoming queue. The Soulkyn team has also added keyboard shortcuts for users who prefer controlling playback with their keyboard. Simply hit Space to play/pause, use the arrows to seek and change tracks, ‘M’ to mute, ‘N’ to skip to the next track.

One of the key features of this update is that music plays are now counted. Whether a music track is played from within the AI Music hub or directly inside an AI companion chat, the play will be counted. The most popular songs will be added to the Most Played section.

AI Videos Gets a New Discovery Hub

The new AI Video hub takes inspiration from popular video platforms. Designed with a simple, easy-to-navigate layout, it features organized sections, 16:9 previews, video durations, and HD badges. The new dedicated watch pages include ratings, comments and an Up Next section.

The Soulkyn vision model generates up to three categories for each video, such as anime, realistic, POV, and cosplay. The categories can be used with sorting options, making it easy to browse AI Videos. View counts are now visible on video previews, and the Most Viewed section sorts videos by their number of views. Each video will now also have a descriptive caption generated by the Soulkyn vision model, so users have a better idea of what type of content they are selecting. With these new AI Videos features, it’s easier than ever to enjoy an AI girlfriend with video.

Playlists for Music and Videos

The AI media update also introduced personal playlists for both AI Music and AI Videos. Users can add tracks to their playlists and choose a cover for each one. The update also allows users to choose whether to keep their playlists private or make them public and share them with the Soulkyn community. Playlists can be shared via link and can receive likes and comments.
