Soulkyn Makes AI Roleplay More Customizable With New Edit Message Controls

Our latest Soulkyn update introduces a brand-new way to customize roleplay scenes without regenerating messages, along with a few smaller improvements.

What is the difference between good AI roleplay and truly immersive AI roleplay?

The details.

Serious roleplayers know that when even one tiny detail is off, it can break the immersion. That’s why Soulkyn’s new update allows users to edit an AI companion’s clothing and the roleplay location without having to regenerate the entire message. The ‘Edit Message’ option now shows under the text in messages that feature an outfit or a location. Users can edit an outfit or location, with each field supporting up to 256 characters. Once the edits are made, they will be reflected in your Kyn’s next reply and future image generations.

Narrator lines get the same treatment when narrator mode is enabled. Edits will remain attached to the message variant where they were made and switching between those variants won’t erase your changes. Edited narration lines can contain up to 1,200 characters.

Smaller improvements & tweaks

The recent update also makes gifting Souls simpler by making the total cost clearer. Now, the gift window features two distinct fields: Recipient receives and You send (total). Users can simply input the amount they would like the recipient to be gifted and the total is automatically calculated (including fees). A new “D20 roll animation” switch has also been added to the chat settings under “Auto D20 on every message”. Rolls will still go ahead and appear in your message but users now have the choice to skip the full-screen dice.
